  1. I have a 10e with a MK 55lb trolling motor and it gets me wherever I need to go... This boat is not well suited for big bodies of water especially with windy conditions..... Put the tolling motor on the front so you can move the boat and fish at the same time... Good luck...
  2. I have a 2015 Nissan Frontier and the Bass Raider 10e fits perfectly in the bed. Its only a 5 foot bed, so obviously leave the tailgate down and strap it down nicely and it works.... Have traveled over 75 miles on the road with it in the bed with no issues... Check your wheel well measurements..and remember the pontoons are not as wide as the top of the boat (which I believe is 48")... Hope this helps...
  3. No problem fitting in bed of my Nissan Frontier (with a 5' bed). Should fit nicely in your Colorado......
  4. Can anyone suggest the electrical connectors I would need to place the battery at the front of the 10e (using the plug) and modifications to the wiring at the trolling motor and the wiring at the back to mount the motor in the back of the boat. Thanks in advance for any advice. Ps. Using the Minn Kota battery box. Also, would you advise placing the battery in the front with 1 angler or on the back? Thanks...
  5. Thanks again for the info. Links to Amazon are very helpful for the Scotty products. I also like the anchor rig option, wish I had the $$s for a micro power pole setup.. But it cost as much as the boat.....
  6. Thanks for the info on the seat. You have a nice rig. Is that the paddle holder on the left side (facing the camera) mounted on the outside? Also, did you use YAK rod holders and paddle holders? Thanks!
  7. Thanks for the info on the seats and battery. I was considering the Cabelas agm 22 since it is on sale. I'll give it a shot. Agreed on the height issue. Just need to mount one on the rail and check it. Good advice. Thanks
  8. Anyone have any experience with the Cabela's AGM 22 battery. Have a Minn Kota 55 Enduramax trolling motor. Want to get a good battery that is not so heavy( this one is 38lbs) to use on my new Bass Raider 10e? Thanks....
  9. Thanks for the info on the seat. Thought upgrading to a regular high back boat seat would be better but a little more $$s. I'll go that route...
  10. Just purchased a Bass Raider 10e at Academy last week and ordered a Minn Kota endure max 55b trolling motor to pair with it. 3 questions: 1. Any suggestions on good padded seats to replace the non-padded ones... AND... 2. Suggestions on a NOT so HEAVY deep cycle battery (would like to keep it under 30lbs). Getting too old to be lugging around 55 lb battery...AND 3. I will be hauling the boat in the back of my pickup.. Any suggestions on a dolly.. I saw some Kayak dollies at Cabelas online that might work. Just need one for the times I'm fishing alone.. Thanks and I'm jazzed about getting out there and wetting a hook in the new boat.
