well i got shut out had alot of hits a few huge hits but as soon as it started coming i let it drop and it just turned away but it seemed like it was out of there mouth befor i could even think about setting the hook.... i was using a 5 1/2'' baby slug texas rig and a #3 mepps.. with teh slug just twitching it over the weeds and letting it drop in the holes and could usualy see the fish playing with it when i let it drop at the start of teh weeds

ok then im headin out now...

so we just had a huge rain storm... The temp has been mid to high 90's for about 3 days and last night it rained pretty much all night... now today it is down to 76.. The question i am asking is will these be better fishing bringing the water temp down and bringin the fish into shallow cover... or is it just going to mess up the fishing because of the presure in the lake due to the rain?

i used the same hardware from the first one i made..

ok now i need some advice... well i lied in my first post the black and silver one was what i thought an exact replica of the first one i made.. The first one ran perfect but for what ever reason would start to get water loged after about 45 min and not sit right on the water and would go under..... But today i just tested out the replica (the one in the pic) and it seems to not get the job done. Insted of being a top water it goes about 1/2''-1'' under the water so it realy does'nt get the poping affect... just wondering why the other one made just about 100% exact would work perfect and this one seems to be a little off... I even tried teh yellow one and it was'nt running right eathier

i know these arnt all to great they were made out of nothing but a 1x4, grinding stone and spray paint. Just looking for a little input i know the paint is pretty bad but i did catch a nice 17'' and a 14'' with the black and silver one it seems to do the walk teh dog move pretty good havent had a chance to try out the other 2 yet... so just lemme knw what ya think.. ya hate it nice let me kno..
