  1. Honestly anywhere within an hour or two drive of Fannin county. I guess that could land me in Tennessee or North Carolina as well... I'll be staying in Blue Ridge and McCaysville.
  2. Lake Baldwin is a great spot, there's accessible banks around the 75% of the lake via a large sidewalk that circles around the entire lake. Great shops to visit when your finished. I've caught a 3-4 pounder there. the map for lake baldwin is here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Winter+Park,+FL/@28.5726308,-81.320905,16.06z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x88e7701bdba629c5:0xc63f82952cf5ee20 There's also a public dock off of lake berry, which you can get to by following preserve point drive all the way down to a dock on your right. It's a great spot, I catch every time I visit. I remember one evening while fishing with a texas rigged senko, an entire school of bass just started attacking the top water for a length of about 20 feet. It was the biggest ruckus ive ever seen on a lake. The map of lake berry is here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Winter+Park,+FL/@28.5839892,-81.3360476,17.9z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x88e7701bdba629c5:0xc63f82952cf5ee20 The awesome part is that these lakes are literally 2-3 miles from each other. Perfect for shore hopping. If you need to add another shore to your shore hopping destination within a few miles, Lake Chelton is more like a pond but the bank is entirely accessible and there are some respectable sized bass in this lake. The map is here: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Winter+Park,+FL/@28.5782369,-81.3488815,18.69z/data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x88e7701bdba629c5:0xc63f82952cf5ee20 You can drive to each of these lakes from another in about 5 minutes. This has been one of my go-to's when my backyard lake is getting too monotonous. I hope this helps
  3. During late September I will be visiting North Georgia, and I am interested in spending a day or two of my vacation fishing for bass. Living in Florida there is no shortage of lakes and I can simply visit google maps to find a spot to fish and take a quick 10 minute trip to get there. The problem is I am not too familiar with Georgia and its waters. I certainly don't want to waste a day looking for somewhere to fish when there are folks out there who are willing to share the secret spots. Another issue is I will be fishing from the shore exclusively. I would need a spot that has public access. Any residents or folks that frequent that area know of good day fishing spots that I can shore fish from? I would be much obliged if someone could share a lake for my girlfriend and I to have a nice picnic and maybe land a catch or two. thanks, Wormi
