I use an Iwata hp c+ and Love it. You might want to start with a lower grade brush and then move your way up. You can get a .5 airbrush at Harbor Freight for around $20.00, I still use mine to spray basecoats and thicker paints.

No need to take the hook hangers off, just take off the hooks and split rings then tape off the bill. Sand the bait with 800 grit sand paper, like Basscollin said if flaking, you might want to use 400 grit sand paper. You dont have to get all of the old paint off, just rough it up so the new paint will stick to it. Good Luck and post pics when finished .

Not bad for your 1st with a rattle can, add the colors the guys have told you and it will bring it to life .
