I go with a mix, my oldest Garcia rods are cork, the new rods are a 50/50 split, I like both, no real preference.

I'm old school, still use my 1962 Mitchell 300, still my first choice when conditions allow, still have 3 NIB dating to 1952.

Hello to all, just found the site, looks great for info. I'm a senior citizen, been fishing all my life, a long time. I enjoy both freshwater bass and surf casting when on the Island, the North Fork.
