So I bought a spool of 8lb braid for my bluegill/crappie/perch rod....but never got around to putting it on. Had an extra 1500 reel lying around, so made another finesse/shakeyhead/dropshot rod. Let me tell you, I love this line...it lays so nicely on the spool, doesnt get wind knots, casts a mile (granted 2lb diameter) and is strong and sensitive. Prefer it to PP, Hi Seas and PLine. How are other TUF braid? Still good results as you increase in size? If I remember correctly its semi in-expensive too! I need a 30/35lb for my jig/worm rod.

So when youre done with a bobber stop...youre done right? Is there any magical way to re-use them another time?

Same family...Pike's southern cousin. Fun to catch....buzz a spinner and watch them destroy it. They love minnows or anything fast, shiny, and noisy.

Cottonmouths are all over the Southeast....they love water. Dad told me stories of having his 357 on the deck of his boat while fishing Currituck Sound in NC....when the wind dies they'd sun themselves on the water and get attracted to the glitter on his boat. They arent afraid to get near the boat or possibly try to even get in the boat. He said he only had tok draw the gun once or twice.
