Rage Craws, PitBoss, and Big Bite Baits Swimming Craw (same thing as Paca Craw but cheaper). Also got some of the Christy Craws on Sale at Walmart, interested in trying them this year..similar to a Rage craw.

tournament went bad...skunked! We had 45 participants and there were 5 boat tourneys out of Smallwood. There was no open water whatsoever! Bluebird skies didnt help at all...50.5 inches was the winning total.

Hitting Mattawoman tomorrow for a kayak tourney. Really havent fished much this year (moved & new job) so it will be good to just get out. High Tide is 930 at Indian Head, so first few hours should be good.

Tried half heartedly in the past...never got the feel, but Ive now made an investment and am determined on how to throw one of these things. Got a Team Diawa Glass rod that is a little bent from my dad...picked up a ABG Silver Max for it. Gonna use it for squarebills and topwater Also bought the 6'9" ABG Vendetta Black Max combo from DSG. Gonna use this for swim jigs/chatterbaits Now to watch some youtube videos amd practice.

This little swimbait on one, caught my biggest fish of 2015. Spinning rod, 8lb braid...literally looking for bites.

it catches fish...have some. Its action is just as described. Bought some when I was a kid.

I really like Big Bite Baits (im on a budget); the swimming craws are a ripoff of Netbait, but $2 cheaper. Some of the Kriet Signature stuff you can find marked down (cleaned up on the 25 days of xmas) Rage Menace & Craws are must haves. PitBoss is a must have. 10 inch Worm by Berkley is a standard. Trying some Gambler Easy Otters out this year. Colors: Back & Blue, GP, Junebug, Sprayed Grass. Love reds & purples in my baits, just a confidence thing.

You'll enjoy it...fantastic on spinning rods...no wind knots, very little line twist. Its just expensive.

These will outperform anything you can find...throw them in a grass opening and hold on!

I have some Bagleys in my box that are 20 years old...my dad gave them to me when I 1st really started to get my own box as a kid. Some of the baby bass ones have this chartruese paint on them to hide the cracks and such...the 90s people used what they had.

Dont chunks work really well on jigs with rattles? Seems like I can never get a full size up the hook shank.

Only buy tackle that works in your water conditions. No need for 10xd if youre a bank fisherman or fish shallow water. Know a few solid colors of lures and stick to them. All the different varities of colors dont matter to a fish. All those Flecks and flakes dont matter!!! Custom painted lures are a way to throw money in the toilet. Those catch fisherman, not more fish. Think a 5lber looks at a crankbait and can see the custom painted gills??? Cmon ya'll....these are little fish with little brains. They react to things in their environment. Once you find something that works (rod, line, soft plastic, etc) STICK WITH IT!!!! Buy it in bulk...stop experimenting. my $0.02
