Tackle Backpack
I've been doing a lot of bank fishing and pond hopping. I'm tired of carrying a single strap soft tackle bag. I'm constantly on the move covering water and my bag is very uncomfortable to fish with. I'm looking for a quality backpack with a good amount of storage to stay versatile from one pond to the next as I often hit several bodies of water throughout the day. It also needs to have 2 rod holder. One on each side as I normally run with a 3 pole setup. Quality is a concern because it will see a lot of use. I'm looking at the Abu Garcia revo backpack but I'm not sure of the quality. At 100 bucks I'm hesitant to pull the trigger with out seeing it. Price isn't a concern but I do not want to buy twice. Does anyone have any experience with this pack or have a better suggestion

Finesse Casting Rod
that's why I dislike buying a rod with out handling it first. either barrow a buddies rod or at least handling it in a store, I like to put my hand on them first. there just isn't a selection of quality l/ml rods locally. im forced to order online and take a gamble. Ive tried to talk a local tackle shop into carrying a selection of finesse rods but he refuses. his sale are 90% speckled trout and red drum fishermen. although I did get him to carry rage craws, megastrike shakey heads ,and cavitrons. so I cant be too mad. if I end up not liking the vokley, it will just go into the corner with a couple other budget rods that I reserve for taking other people fishing. I have my fingers crossed though. looks to be a nice rod.

Finesse Casting Rod
I'm am very hopeful and excited about this rod. My next decision is line choice. Light braid,6lb yozuri,or a light fulro. Sniper, tatsu. Ect. What are you guys using? I'm fishing very stained water so visibility.is not a concern But cover is. Sensitivity, abrasion resistance and castability is key. Gonna give the 6 lbs yozuri a try first because I already have a spool at the house. But I'm open to suggestions. I've never fished fluoro so I'm very curious as to how a top end brand would perform.

Yes I ordered mine from shimreels via eBay. Ebays window says 14-29 but fedex says est delivery date is 9-3. Mine also says Singapore. Not sure how I feel about that. "Fedex express mail takes 3-7 days and has full online tracking. All expensive purchases over $100 is preferably shipped by FEDEX." This is a quote from shimreels shipping page. So hopefully we don't have problem. Fingers crossed

I ended up buying the major craft vokley. Vkc-69ml/bfs. 150 with free shipping is hard to pass up. It will be here sometime between sept.14-29. We shall see. Might still order something custom too. I have a old Calcutta 50 that my grandfather gave me just sitting on a shelf waiting for a worthy rod.

Finesse Casting Rod
Thanks for all the great responses guys. I have been looking into the megabass x4 hedgehog or x7 criffhanger , the major craft vokley 68ml and a custom rod. As of right now I am leaning toward a custom rod

Also interested in line suggestions. I was thinking suffix 832 30lbs braid with a fluorocarbon leader. Won't be fishing any rock or heavy vegetation with this set up but it will see lay downs and brush piles. I do have some yozuri hybrid 6 lbs I was thinking about running but I'm on the fence with it

Finesse Casting Rod
Bit the bullet and picked up a chronarch 50e, avail honeycomb micro cast spool and bfs air bearings. Now I need advice on a rod. I'm looking to spend less than 300 dollars on a weightless plastic/very light t rig bottom contact rod. Needs to be as sensitive as possible and still be capable of casting 1/8 ounce total weight lures. Looking at the kistler helium 3. 7 foot medium extra fast and the g Loomis gl2 852c. Can any one give me any insight on these rods? Also open to suggestions. Trying to stay close to 7ft. Thanks in advance
