  1. That's not a bad, might give that a spin. My previous method...hah...drove me even crazier. I think that's more practical for a few different hook styles/sizes, but I have too many - plus all the other weights, swivels, etc...
  2. As fishgasm brought up, Power Pro is probably the most widely used and versatile braid out there. I've tried a few different brands and 30# Power Pro was (and still is) a good all-around replacement for many of my old mono applications. For frogs, punching, anything around heavy cover I am loving the Sunline FX2 in 50 or 60 lb. That stuff is relentless through cover, lasts forever and casts well for a heavy braid. All that aside, I still use mono in clearer waters and still ponds (where line visibility is more relevant), or when I need the added sensitivity or a bit of stretch factor. That and it is far less expensive than braid or flouro...
  3. I'm looking for a box, similiar to the Plano 3700's in size, that can handle terminal tackle. Seems simple, but the problem isn't the storage space - it's the fact that I can't find a box where the top sits flush with the dividers. The few different boxes I have tried (two of which were specifically terminal tackle boxes) have that critical issue - when they get flipped or turned sideways all my hooks and swivels go through a d**n spin cycle and I have to sort them all out again. I don't want to put everything in bags or pouches, that's kind of a pain, I'd rather just be able to access the loose tackle easily from a compartment. Just curious what you all use, and if it gives you the same headaches
  4. Hi there, my name is Matt. I'm 25, been bass fishing for the last few years around my home turf Southern California. Just got into an RT178 recently. Although Socal lakes are fun...9/10 I'd rather be up fishing the Delta or Clearlake. whenever I can escape from my office, that is. I'm usually up there 2 or 3 times a year and it's always a thrill. Anyways...thanks to everyone in advance for the advice, knowledge and patience!
