    I recently was given a gift of a new St Croix Legend Elite light power fast action 6 ft 6 rod. I fish primarily for Smallmouth and largemouth bass. Is there a suggested finesse application that this nice rod would shine at in fishing for these large fish. I fish out of a kayak and would really like to use this rod on small lakes and docks for its sensitivity.

    Does anyone have experience with these rods for performance and reliability. I just purchased one. They are made for gander mtn by the company 13.
