  1. 2017 was a extremely good year for me for bass fishing and new species of fish, so it will be hard to beat. My new years bass resolution is to catch more big bass, catch new species of bass, and to catch other new species of fish in 2018.
  2. The secret has been released! Dont forget the secret fishing line,Big Game Mono. Now people are going to read this and stock up on Pink Senkos.
  3. Just one? I got several! LOL
  4. It wound of been a awesome catch from land. Still a decent catch from a boat.
  5. Its 74 degrees with 87% humidity where I am at this moment. We are having a very warm winter for the past 5 years in a row now. Wish it was a little colder since I enjoy doing long distance running this time of year(40-60 degrees is my favorite temperature for long distance running). It still beats having to deal with the snow and using a shovel to remove the snow from the driveway.
  6. I will buy a couple lures that proved themselves to be good in the areas I fish.
  7. Thank you for posting this. I also have a youtube channel where I post some of my catches along with other hobbies of mines. I have been looking for a new video editor ever since Youtube decided to remove the Youtube video editor. Will research Lightworks video editor.
  8. Nice smallmouth bass. Did you catch them from land?

  12. Welcome to the forum. I have visited South Carolina before, it is a beautiful state that I plan on visiting again.
  13. Do not waste your time with the internet tough guys. They tend to spend a large portion of their pathetic lives online and are very weak, both physically and mentally. Many of them carry a gun or will group up on you if you decide to meet this internet tough guy in person. Ignore him and start spending more of your time with those who are your real friends and loved ones. Life is too short to waste it on people who do not deserve your time.

  15. You do not see many cars with northern license plates in Jacksonville? I have seen every state that borders the Great Lakes this month alone in South Florida. Have seen the far NorthWest states every once in a while including Alaska license plates.I see most of these northern license plates while driving on I-75, maybe they prefer this highway to drive down to South Florida. West Palm Beach is where I see the most out of state license plates but I see plenty of them in Broward and Miami-Dade county. I understand why they come here since we have very nice winter weather. No need to build indoor ponds here and the bass bite every day of the year.Besides fishing in a indoor pond would not give the real outdoor experience that most of us enjoy while bass fishing.

  18. Well said @flyfisher. I think most bass fishermen agree with what their state fisheries biologist does to improve the fisheries. Hydrilla is a invasive species and it can grow out of control, I have seen it several times in my home waters. The triploid grass carp in Florida help control the hydrilla, and these carp should help control the hydrilla in other bodies of water where they are stocked in. I much prefer having these sterile carp control the aquatic vegetation than having chemicals sprayed in the water to kill aquatic vegetation.
  19. Good advice. I been buying hooks in bulk quantities for over 2 decades now and it helps you save money.
  20. I agree it would probably be cheaper to just move to Florida than build a indoor pond. What license plates have you been seeing lately in your part of the state? I have been seeing lots of license plates from Texas, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Georgia.
