  1. 50's because of the size.
  2. I would do the spool bearings if any. I cleaned all my spool bearings and am satisfied. On the water the cleaned shimanos was hard to tell a difference, the lews tp once cleaned was a completely different real. After that I didnt feel like I needed new bearings.
  3. I have fished the tournament pro quite a bit and have zero complaints. As small as a chronarch 50e. Some days I wish all my reels were lews. Other days its shimano. Easy way to pick is flip a coin.
  4. I would get 2 of the new *** blacks before a ltb.
  5. I bought the new curado and returned it the next day. something about it just didnt feel right so I bought a 50e. Given your choices I would say lews. Tournament pros are every bit as good if not better than the chonarch 50e, I fished em both all weekend. No expierence wit daiwa.
  6. Yeah, Im trying to get to all one brand and mainliy fish shimano, but every time I fish with the lews I cant believe how good those are too. Talk about about a crisis.
  7. unless you like the blue color of the ltb, I have a 6'6' avid mf casting and it s just a darn good rod. legend elites are quite a bit nicer. I have fished the heck out of some ltb's but now I would either get avids or elite/extremes. ltbs are good rods but i wont buy another one.
  8. Als, I had them both side by side and the lews I think is actually nicer. Good Day!
  9. Looking at a new reel for st croix legend extreme 7ft mhf, Want to put a shimino metanium hg or a lew team pro on it. I already have cores, chronarchs and tournament pros and really like all of them. Kinda been leaning more towards shimano these days but lews are great also. So, what would you get?
  10. all the same reels and same model rods
  11. tournament pro does everything well.
