Crawfish colord strick King crank bait! ?

Anyone else ejoying this wonderful open water season still? I have had the opportunity to head out on the rivers by a power plant with 40 dagree water. I was getting a lot of small mouth and I'm not sure how yet but I chought a large mouth on the Mississippi. Dose anyone know how this happened? But still lots of fun. I wanna hear how everyone else is doing fishing.

Gift cards are gold!! But I love soft plastics. I buy from power team lures. There farly cheep for the most part and very well built. But for slow fishing buy authentic X pulse r's. Spinner baits are also good and cheep. But stick with gift cards! Can't go wrong with them. Crank baits are good as well.

For drop shot what bait were you using?

Try some crank baits. What's the water temp? Spinners should work. I'm really saprised nothing on drop shots. Try some lipless crank baits and try some slow moveing soft plastics with a pattle tail. Anything with a good thump. Or some inline spinners. Real slowly.

Alright. I love fishing lakes. But rivers are lots of fun. What do you guys like better?

There biting like crazy up here. How bout down there? Any good bass down there? There's a lot of 18+ up here. Not monsters like down in Texas but there nice fish.

I have won most of my rods. a few that are good and some that ain't.

One is. And one ain't.

So I have a st croix premier rod. And a few other cheaper rods. But. I have noticed that that most of my rods have the same action. (A Walmart rod) I'm trying to think if it's better to buy a expensive rod. Or a cheaper set up. What y'all think. A more expensive rod or cheaper rod. No mater what I rods I use I get the same results.
