I wanna put a fish finder in my FeelFree moken 12.5, you guys would know a lot more about good depth/fish finders. Is there any good ones on the market for under 300 that you would recommend? And ware is a good stop to put it?

Yup. I do all of bass tornaments around my area as well. Lots of fun. I have meet a lot of great people from kayak fishing.

I use rage tail craws and power team lure sick sticks for most of my plastics fishing. What do you guys use? I use a lot of pulse-r's for slow fishing as well.

I like the pro angler. Is it the 12 foot? Or the 17? I like the 12 but I like my feel free moken 12.5. But any yack that's fishable is a good thing to have around.

Nice hobie pro angler. I have only fished out of one once.. I wanted one but it's a pain to paddle without the mirage drive.

Or get a 2 person kayak. That would be really fun! But boats are nice as well.. It's nice to not always have to paddle.

I like the FeelFree moken 12.5. It's a roomy yack but.. 2 rod holders. But you can put more into it with the rail system it has. I like it a lot. Or hobie makes some great yacks as well. But it's up to you. Your kyack.

It's a Abu Garcia real. And it only has problems with my st croix rod. It's the st croix pemier.

I only use 6' 6" rods out of my yack. It's a all around perfect size for me.

Dose anyone else have problems with the st croix handles comeing lose or not staying tight on the real? With mine it's always comeing lose. I have a st croix permier.

I agree. It's much cheaper.. But I kinda still am spending to much on kayak gear. But I can get places that bass boats can't get. I like bass boats but I love kayaks!

So I only kayak fish. And love to do it more then boat fishing. Do any of you kayak fish as well? What do you like about it. Do you like it more then boat fishing? I like it because of its more of a challenge and I need my daliy paddle. Ha!
