good luck john, we don't have ice down here so i get to fish 365 and fight them year round... :-)

i got a 2001 Toyota Tacoma with a 2 inch lift and 33" BFG All-Terrains. its only a 2 wheel drive truck and i've never had a problem pulling even the steepest ramps.

well i want to put it on the back of the boat. i don't think its going to come w/ instructions seeing as its used and i'm getting it second hand, but i'll try to get the instructions from it.

i'm about to get my first depth finder...yay! i need to find out how to mount my transducer, i've heard vaguely(sp) how to do it but if anyone knows of a tutorial or can tell me and show pictures or something of that sort. i'd appreciate it greatly. thanks guys

what are some good pre-spawn colors to use in small ponds or bigger lakes w/ good cover?!

now i know alot of you have put decks in your jon boats. how do you attach the deck to the bow? also how do you attatch it to the bench? and did you guys put any sort of support under the wood?

they talk about the support legs for the bow deck. exactly how is this done? and what is the deck attactched to at the very front of the boat? does is just rest against the aluminum? i would think that would bend the frame after a while.

i'm gettin ready to buy my first fish finder for my 16' fishin boat. should i go with the hummingbird 525 or the garmin 120? i like the price range of these two graphs. any feedback you guys have on these would be great!

i went fishin yesterday too and had about the same results as you, it was windy and the water is in the 50's. i tried cb, t-rig worms and lizards, c-rig tubes....and then i went to a jig and pork, and they turned on, i was flipping under a boat dock in about 10' of clear water and boom, a 4 lber...check the jigs out, just might be the trick for ya. good luck, let us know how it goes tomorrow.

how exactly did you put decks in your boat? i need a bigger flippin deck :'(

i have a jon boat with two benches on front and back with those swivel seats on each bench, i need to put an elevated seat on the front bench, any tips for doing this? any of you done this on your jon boats? are the benches filled with foam on the inside?

i want to paint my galvanized jon boat trailor....how do i go about doing this? what paint? what primer?
