  1. I am looking for some really small low profile BC's, anyone got any suggestions? Kinda wanting an Ultra-Lite set up, only with BC instead of spinning. Thanks in advance, Plastik
  2. Sorry bro. Not such a good deal. This is the combo, and only a couple bucks more. http://www.amazon.com/Quantum-Vapor-VP3066M-Spinning-Combo/dp/B000EB5P6O/sr=1-3/qid=1162605771/ref=sr_1_3/102-3712303-2818531?ie=UTF8&s=sporting-goods
  3. Team Daiwa Viento. That twitchin bar really makes life easy.
  4. For those days you wish to be like Rambo, you have one on your sholder, and the pistol at your belt!
  5. Nice, subtle one to slip in there, GMAN. I'll stick with my Homelite retriever. Though lower in value it still gets the job done. Wow, didnt notice it the first time through! Pair that with a Little Giant, and call it a day!
  6. ME TOO!!! I am half tempted to buy it just to get a video of it in action. Maybe try for some perch or something.
  7. I know a few people who have them and love them. I dont know any more details, but as far as i know they where happy with spending the full 100$ on them. If you want to save a few extra abes, I would suggest buying one off ebay, at least to check it out. P.S. I am bidding on one right now, dont ruin me!!! Plastik.
  8. Thats about what I was thinking. To bad my aim with that thing would probably be as bad as with my rodnreel. I would still end up in every tree there is!!
  9. Its all too easy now. http://www.ngcsports.com/moreinfo/castinggun/index.cfm
  10. Anyone remember the TV adds with this thing? Did any baitmonkey's ever buy it? And if you did make the purchase, did it work well??? http://www.renosky.com/bionicminnow/ Plastik
  11. Wish I could get the wife to sign off on just 1 new rod this year, let alone all of them!
  12. If you own some land dig a hole and throw em in!! Just kidding, just go there when they start draining, make sure to wear some waders, and bring a long net and a bucket. Start loading the bucket with the fish, fillet them, invite some friends over and have a fish fry. No sense in just letting them die! I bet there will be some monster cat fish in there as well. Just my couple of pennies.
  13. I also won a shimano rod and reel combo. Its the Sienna combo from Cabelas/basspro.
  14. I got 6th place for big bass. We each only got to weigh in 1 fish. ALthough i was able to put 4 in the boat. Unfortunatly it was a really tough day for fishing. http://www.qualitybass.org/index.html Would you believe this fish went 2.90? He was about as fat around as he was long!
  15. With 65$ I would buy at least 4 packs of senkos, and a couple spools of line. Reason, Senkos are so soft, you can never have to many, and not having spools of line can come and bite you in the rear when you dont have 65$ in your back pocket. Plastik.
  16. /Agree They are fun, and the bass go insane over them.
  17. For clear water, muddy water or what? Natural colors are better for clear water, so that's probably what he's talking about, but I'll let him speak for himself . My favorite are Baby Bass and Bluegill for clear water, and Green Tiger for murky. However, I have caught plenty of bass on the bluegill pattern in murky water. Thats what I assumed, but you never know, like you I have caught my share on natural baits in murky water. I also like the craw in some clear areas. We have a couple power plant cooling lakes just south of San Antonio, and Craw really works well there, considering that is one of the more plentiful critters around there.
  18. For clear water, muddy water or what?
  19. Meh, I like the baby bass, especially in clear water. I use the 4 or 6 foot depending, but rarely the 10. Would like to hear what other people prefer, and for what type of water they use it with confidence in!
  20. You get to put down your Stateside wish list, and your over seas wish list. Me I have only been back Stateside for 1 year. And I came back to TEXAS. Lackland, where you will be going to BMT, is in San Antonio, about a 6 or less hour drive to Fork, about 2 hours to Chokey Canyon and about 1 hour from Canyon. There is also, Medina lake, Lake McQueeny, and various small bodies of water around here. Depending on your AFSC, you will have your choice of 3 different bases in SA, and a few more scattered across the state. If you are a Cop, I would suggest getting to Randolph AFB. Anything else, Brooks or Lackland. Good luck, and make the most out of BMT, a lot of memories will come from that time period, its going to be a BIG life change. Welcome to the Air Force Plastik
  21. /agree with basspro I prefer them as well. Wire is just to much effort. Its like putting a big fat 11" worm on a 2/0 hook! Never going to get anywhere with that.
  22. I like small ponds, back wood streams/ponds. 1. they are easier to walk around and 2 I try to find places that have hardly been touched. I like the peace when I fish, would rather be running from a snake, then trying to pull one out of a piece of garbage. Lakes are fine, when I am fishing on a boat of course
