  1. Dams are both on south side. I dont really agree shallow vs deeper when talking fishing reservoirs. The trolling motor temp sensor is only 2 feet deep and were talking early spring. Only the top of the water column is heating up whether its shallow or deep. Must be the snow melt runoff up in canada for the north end is colder than the lack of snow in idaho for the south end
  2. why is it texas reservoirs warm up on the north side of the lake first in spring and in idaho at least my new home reservoir is the opposite?
  3. Whats your most productive lure for smallmouth in reservoirs at 15 to 25 feet suspended? Feeding on baitfish and not feeding
  4. Whats my best option for a 1/2 oz maybe 3/4 oz weight to minimize hang ups in rocks. Egg style weight dont work. Cylinder weight?
  5. Do these hang up on rocks
  6. So whats the go to lure on the ned? weedless or open hook? I dont understand why anyone would use a open hook myself
  7. Does the Ned rig out produce a texas rig for you?
  8. Anyone slow roll spinnerbaits off the bottom for deep water smallies with good success? How is the water clarity and what colors and blades do you use
  9. Do you find majority of smallmouths on flats spring and summer with mostly steep structure reservoir’s . Or even a slight slope over steep slope
  10. Does your game plan change if the water is rising or falling ? Or do you simply work a wider range of depth to find the pattern regardless of what the water level is doing
  11. First off I hate spinning reels. Anyone else only use baitcasters for smallmouth? What line size and type of line do you use with a baitcaster
  12. Am i looking for a unicorn to replace sealed light assy that will mount to exisitng holes on a 20 year old trailer
  13. I thought it was common knowledge fish feed at night with a full moon
  14. Do you find the south end of the reservoir more productive for summer patterns ?
