TW may have them for presale for March but I noticed that they don't always get stuff in as quickly as other places. I was looking at a new reel that was coming out that was released in January and can be bought at my local brick and mortar store. I asked them on one of their recent periscopes sessions when they would be getting them in and they said at earliest March. So it is a possibility that BPS gets them in.

I have a Silver Max that I bought four seasons ago and I have had no problems with it and have caught allot of fish with it!

I cannot agree more with this statement, I lost the biggest fish of my life because of that garbage! I was much younger then, I am much older and wiser and now. I use Seagaur Fluorocarbon, Power Pro braid, Izorline Co-polymer. As far as using a leader, I say fish with what you are confident in. I do believe that there are application where braid should be used over fluorocarbon or co-polymer but fishing with a leader is not necessary if you do not feel confident fishing it. My advice would be if you find a seller that is serious they shouldn't have any problem with you having a local mechanic give it a quick run down.

I have primarily been a lake or reservoir angler and could use some advice on tidal waters? How does it affect the bite, water temp, fish behavior?

Probably already been said but I use Tackle Warehouse brand reel covers and Stick Jacket for my rods and recommend them when I can.

So I have never fished on a tournament level but I am not new to fishing by any means, but I could use any advice for fishing ABA tournaments as a co-angler. I know that there are some necessities such as rain gear, and organized tackle etc. but I am wanting any good info that I have not thought of. Basically the what to do and not to do.
