I believe in the garlic dips and that they work. I was wondering how many other people believe it or use them on everything like me.
  4. If you guys are wanting to put in at GreenPond Boat Ramp "Where the Classic Launched" Anderson has tons of hotels about 5 or so miles away Best Option Would be On Clemson BLVD In Anderson SC You Would Be right in the Middle of everything Plenty or restaurants/ Shopping Places to go when off the lake. No Decent Hotels Are near the boat ramp they all are about 5-10 miles away from it.
  5. well This week i was looking at the weather and was getting ready to go Deer hunting at my hunting club until i saw it was gonna be 70 degrees yesterday. Called a buddie up and we got out on the water and fished until about 1 and caught fish all day long. Drop Shots and shakey heads were killing yesterday ended up with about 12lbs one of my better winter days on hartwell.
  6. Rod: Duckett Heavy Reel: *** by *** Baits : Big Swimbaits and frogs ive been bass fishing for about 3 years now but last winter i got into tournament fishing. This past year i would go to a local pond or on the bank of the lake and just try new things. I would only take one rod with that specific thing. A jig or a shakey head or a crank bait etc.. Now swim baits have got my eyes. I fished frogs a few times this summer and have a little luck but im wanting to do it alot more.
  7. Fish it just like you would the lake in your area and react to what the fish want. Find the fish then figure out what they want. Throw a fast bait and see if they react if not slow it down with a shakey head or jig. Fish with everything and the kitchen sink to figure out what they want. Stickem Hard
  8. Yesterday i went out and was fishing around at my local marina and stumbled across a strip of the bank where it was 3-4 foot deep. Just walking around the bank looking and a fish swirled the top of the water and took off. I sat down behind a tree and just waited until the fish came back. About 2 min later the big large mouth came right back in the same spot as if she was making a bed. She sat there and about 2 min later another big large mouth shows up and sits next to the other one. I pitched a jig infront of her face and she took off. I did this a few times what would you guys do or throw at these bass?
  9. Well the day didn't go as good as i wanted but i guess it went alright. Started the morning off boat 120 out of 122 to blast off. Started at daylight throwing a crank bait off of a rock ledge. First cast of the day i catch a 3.5 lb large mouth. Second cast i hook up to the biggest rock in the lake and lose my brand new crank bait. After that we hit a couple of different spots and nothing. Started to fish laydowns as the sun started getting up and caught a 2lb spot. 5lbs in the boat before 10am i was thinking it was going good and then i hit a 4 hour streak with out a bite. Then went far back in a creek where fish we busting the surface. All i had in hand was a shakey head. Just threw it in the middle of them and boom a keeper spot was in the live well then caught another keeper spot. Then a shortie. Going into the weigh in with only 4 fish is never a good thing, I was thinking if i was looking for 5 bites and got them i had a good day. Going to the scale with 4 fish and ended up with 8.22lbs. Winning weight was 15.32lbs. just wanted to note that i passed the ''winning'' team 4 times and I could of gave my sister the rod and could cast better than them. Something didn't add up but Second took 12lb and 3rd was 11. i finished 20 out of 122 boats. Thanks to everyone for the help. Stickem Hard
