No Decent Hotels Are near the boat ramp they all are about 5-10 miles away from it.

What Do You Want To Try Next Season
Rod: Duckett Heavy Reel: *** by *** Baits : Big Swimbaits and frogs ive been bass fishing for about 3 years now but last winter i got into tournament fishing. This past year i would go to a local pond or on the bank of the lake and just try new things. I would only take one rod with that specific thing. A jig or a shakey head or a crank bait etc.. Now swim baits have got my eyes. I fished frogs a few times this summer and have a little luck but im wanting to do it alot more.

Pond Vs Lake Fish Patterns Come Winter Fishing It Today Please Help Guys!!
Fish it just like you would the lake in your area and react to what the fish want. Find the fish then figure out what they want. Throw a fast bait and see if they react if not slow it down with a shakey head or jig. Fish with everything and the kitchen sink to figure out what they want. Stickem Hard

Big Bass Shallow In Fall
Yesterday i went out and was fishing around at my local marina and stumbled across a strip of the bank where it was 3-4 foot deep. Just walking around the bank looking and a fish swirled the top of the water and took off. I sat down behind a tree and just waited until the fish came back. About 2 min later the big large mouth came right back in the same spot as if she was making a bed. She sat there and about 2 min later another big large mouth shows up and sits next to the other one. I pitched a jig infront of her face and she took off. I did this a few times what would you guys do or throw at these bass?

High School Tournament Sc
Well the day didn't go as good as i wanted but i guess it went alright. Started the morning off boat 120 out of 122 to blast off. Started at daylight throwing a crank bait off of a rock ledge. First cast of the day i catch a 3.5 lb large mouth. Second cast i hook up to the biggest rock in the lake and lose my brand new crank bait. After that we hit a couple of different spots and nothing. Started to fish laydowns as the sun started getting up and caught a 2lb spot. 5lbs in the boat before 10am i was thinking it was going good and then i hit a 4 hour streak with out a bite. Then went far back in a creek where fish we busting the surface. All i had in hand was a shakey head. Just threw it in the middle of them and boom a keeper spot was in the live well then caught another keeper spot. Then a shortie. Going into the weigh in with only 4 fish is never a good thing, I was thinking if i was looking for 5 bites and got them i had a good day. Going to the scale with 4 fish and ended up with 8.22lbs. Winning weight was 15.32lbs. just wanted to note that i passed the ''winning'' team 4 times and I could of gave my sister the rod and could cast better than them. Something didn't add up but Second took 12lb and 3rd was 11. i finished 20 out of 122 boats. Thanks to everyone for the help. Stickem Hard

Hey Guys I'm a high school angler from SC. I fish For my high school team. First fell in love with fishing when i was 5 and my grandfather taking me up in the mountains catching trout out of wild rivers. Didn't really started bass fishing until last Summer. Fish On the lake about every weekend. I love to learn about new tactics and love helping people. Any day I can fish i can no matter if i go to pond or go on the lake. My home lake is lake hartwell. But a big thing is i play baseball for my school as well. Love anything outdoors. I'm excited about being on bass resource to learn and help. Any Qestions PM me. Remember Stickem Hard.

Casting Drop Shot Rigs/ Improvements
Never heard of casting a drop shot until my last high school tournament when my boat captain said '' Throw that drop shot around the Shoal marker " I looked at him like he was crazy but sure enough first cast i caught a keeper fish. I've been thinking any of you guys like to do anything special to your drop shot rig to make it better. I've heard of drop shotting Rage Craws with a round bend hook instead of a drop shot hook. Any Ideas?

Strange Marks On Largemouth
Before this summer I banked fished 24/7. During bedding season and right after when the fish are cruzin the banks Ive seen ALOT of Bigger Fish Swimming around with black blotches. At first i thought it was the typical Lake Hartwell Spotted bass but then i hooked up to one after fishing for this one school of fish for a hour. I got him on the dock and it turned out it was a 4lb large mouth. More and more fish i see during the spring have a blotch on them. In the winter i have seen 1 or 2 ive caught.

Your Single Best Day On The Water
Febuary this year a week after the bass master classic left. Me and my buddy fixed up a old 16 foot jon boat. put new decks on it and carpet. the whole nine yards for a jon boat. A wendsday afternoon we put the boat in on hartwell about 2 miles from greenpond. I never used a fluke until that day. the first cast i had a 3lb large mouth chase it all the way to the boat. then we went up near some docks. skipped it under and let is fall and gental popping it out and the boom a fish hit it then he came off and the fluke was sitting in my sight then boom he came up and hammered it on the surface 10 feet infront of me. after that we cught 5 fish on that one dock all over 3 lbs then went across the cove and caught 8 off another dock the same way. by far my best day 10 fish all over 3 lbs but 2 of them and the big fish was 6 the best day on the water ever.
