  1. I just placed my order for the 7'2" medium at tackle warehouse. Should be a great rod
  2. Haha I agree. I didn't put it in though. Definitely not my first choice at all Alright I appreciate it!
  3. The bfs has a magnetic braking system. And a different side plate to match it. So don't believe it would work
  4. I own the curado 70 and it truly is amazing, I mainly use it for unweighted plastics. It doesn't have the largest line capacity but believe it's enough. And that's all you need, it completely bombs cast to new lengths. Not to mention with newer features than the 200 and much less clunky
  5. Yea, I plan of getting some 10 or 15lb power pro but I got the reel a few days ago so haven't had time to pick it up.
  6. The rods lure specs are 1/4 to 3/4 I believe... so I assume the rod isn't leading up enough?
  7. It's pretty much completely full, after all I did not put the line on it
  8. I recently purchased a brand new core 50 and was extremely happy to get it. It came spoiled up with 50lb Daiwa j braid. As soon as I got it i put on a st.croix legend tournament bass 7'1" medium power fast action. The next day I took it out and put on a light shakey head 1/4 oz and overall wasn't amazingly impressed by the casting distance... I played with the breaks. Everybody always says they LOVE there core 50s and there the best reels ever. Don't get me wrong, there so light as well as smooth, but anyways does anyone know why I might not be getting the casting distance I'm looking for? Is it the line? Thanks
  9. I've used a 200i and it's very bulky and heavy. Therefore I own a 70hg and it's amazing I have 15# fluro on it for small jigs and flipping and pitching. Very light and very smooth. Cast farther than 200i
  10. I don't understand why it even matters, if we wish to purchase high end spinning reels then we can, until you purchase a "high end" spinning reel, you cant say much, but to me its the smoothness, the QUALITY is a big one, better drag system, lighter too... But whatever
  11. Excuse me my mistake. They do make reels that are in the $200 dollar price point that are magnesium for example my okuma helios air... I think lews makes one too
  12. Actually your wrong it does, the 13 had a mg spool and the 16 is going to have the mgl spool supposedly "magnesium light"
  13. Thanks!!! I mainly fish okuma reels but dont have any rods. I'll look into them A-Jay
  14. Hey guys im new to bass resource but i have been looking at the feeds for a while. Anyways im looking for a swimbait rod and to pair with a shimano cardiff 300a.
