  1. I think it probably depends on the water volume and the amount of water draining from different areas. I would look for reports for the river you have in mind. I know the Shenandoah River here in VA usually takes about 4-5 days to clear up after rain.
  2. ok, thanks for all the help fellas
  3. Absolutely. Without this site, I would have had no way to learn anything more about fishing. I went from only knowing basic fishing that a kid knows to knowing how to catch more fish, and it has really helped me have more fun. As a college student from a very suburban area, I would have had no people in my normal life to learn anything about fishing from. With this site, I've found a source that can expand my abilities and knowledge faster and more extensively than I ever would have been able to before. Without a doubt, I would not still be fishing without this site.
  4. I'm looking to subscribe to a fishing magazine, but I don't know which one to subscribe to. I want one that has product reviews, articles about different techniques, and so on. (I don't want one with tournament info because I don't care about pro fishing) Any suggestions? PS, I'm looking for a monthly magazine (at least)
  5. i would try to fish the edge of that 5' area in the middle, but my experience with smallies is that they also tend to like areas under trees along the banks in shallower areas if the water is warm.
  6. One of my most succesful baits is the Berkely Power Worm in Red Shad T-rigged
  7. I've seen people catching small panfish that were probably less than 4 inches and keeping every single one, they were stuffing the fish into any container they had, even gatorade bottles and pickle jars. I saw one person with 4 sunfish stuffed into an empty pickle jar, it was disgusting...
