Was at my BPS today and saw that the Sizmic popN toads were on an awsome sale. 2 bags for 5 dollars and it came with 2bags of hooks as well. So I picked up 4. I never used them before so i dont know much about them. I bought them becasue of the crazy sale. Anyone know if these work well?? how should i work these???

Its alsmost my dads birthday soon and thinking about getting him either the Revo STX or the Shimano Curado. Both same in price. What do you guys think. Im slightyly leaning towards the STX because of the amazing 10+1 bearing system. Both are amazing reels. Im stuck!!!

Wow its hard to beleive that JM reel went kaput...... For the few months that i had it, it has never casued any problems for me. Im also fishing about 2 times a week since i got the reel and its been holding well. Maybe your buddies reel was just messed up to begin with.

So are the BPS reels and rods any good?? I do own the Johnny Morris sig baitcaster but dont have much to compare it to becasue its my first high end reel. I got it recently as a gift. My previous gear were just 15 20 dollar combos from walmart. I guess im wondering how does it stack up to the other rods and reels.

So i went fishing around 7 today with a buddy of mine by my house pond. i was fishing a senko and thought do these fish bite b/c of the smell or b/c they see the lure even at night. kinda confused. plz help me out.

How much do you guys think its would be if i got 40lb transom trolling motor, deepcycle battery that will last 6 hours on water, battery charger, battery conector and other misc products?? Also, how do you take care of these motors in the winter when im not fishing?? thanks

I live near a 250 acre lake about 5 minutes from my house. For the past 9 years i have been using my 12 foot row boat. Since its not that big of a lake, i was thinking about getting trolling motor to get around the lake, as well as some rowing. i was looking at couple minn kota tolling motors, but i dont know what to get. i also understand that i must get a deep cycle battery as well as a trickle charger. Which motor do you guys think i need. I usually fish for 4-6 hours. i dont really understand the pound thrust. I think its 28 pound thrust, 40, 50 an so on. please help me out. thanks all!! EDIT: Do you guys think i need to get a minn kota with a Maximizer? Or do you guys it will be fine without one?? if I were to get one without one, how long would it last in the lake?
