Is anyone using glass reaction rods and if so how do you like them? Wanting 1 for bladed jigs and spinner baits mostly 3/8-1/2 ounce.....what brand and length and action...m , mh.....any help....thanks

I have shimano and dobyns rods...but the 1 different is a St Croix Premier Casting 7' Medium for crankbaits mainly 1.5's and love it but that's me...so many different rods to pick from and the stores around here only have limited selection to pick from hate to buy a rod online I don't want or like...a pain to return

Does anyone own either of diawas new tatula rods or reels? I want a new set up and am liking the spider concept grapics.....what exactly is their reaction rod made for....spinner baits,bladed jigs....crankbaits.......I'm not sure....so a little help...thank you

I'm in Ohio had the same weather as you and I went fishing Saturday no luck but for January weather it felt great just to cast some different baits

can you use a crankbait rod for jerkbaits? or is the crankbait rod to whippy for this..i have a st Croix 7' medium action crankbait rod as of right now...thanks

Why do rod makers recommend 6'10" rod lenth for spinnerbaits I have 2 just never thought about why that is a popular length

What size rod are you using? what brand and length and action? I have my chatterbait rod is an old shimano crucial mh/xf...looking to change

For what bait application would you use an extra fast taper? I have a 7'2 rod my xtra fast I use for chatterbait seems to work ok you can sure feel that blade working. I guess I never determined what bait application is best for xtra faster taper....Thanks for some input

1 or 2 batteries? I'm adding a fish finder and not sure if I should use the deep cycle main battery to operate fish finder and trolling motor...traxxis 55...or use a separate f f battery. The main battery has never gone below 2/3rds charge after 4-5 hrs of stop and go fishing, not sure of the amp draw of f f...Thanks for some input.

1st time posting...love my pelican bass raider 10e..my girlfriend and I are always out on some body of water in ohio..never a problem unless real windy or I set a treble hook in her leg one time..when I can post a pici will. I built a rod holder out of pvc 90's and cut straight pieces to make a square and installed a square piece of 1/2 inch plywood on top and got the Velcro rod holders with the rubberized holders can carry 8 rods if need be spinners an baitcasters.
