  1. Yes, there's an official dealer for Ranger in France : Bassboat Europe! He has Ranger, tracker and Nitro. France is a small market for bassboat or walleye boat but it's growing well. The dealer is great and help me out last year for the tournaments ! Without the help of my sponsors I could not fish 145 days a year Thanks for them!
  2. one explanation will be that they take extra point with the berkley heavy weight :-? But I don't find anything about that! fred
  3. here's my pics of the co-angler side and the pro side. Amistad was just great, too bad I have to go home :'( Enjoy!
  4. regarding the cohabitation of pike and bass, I agree to what was said above. I have the same experience here in Europe. The only thing I'll mention is that this comportment is due to good acces to forage ressources. If the quantity of food available for both bass and pike is so poor than the pike will start to target mainly bass, bass population will rapidly move from pike's spots. fred
  5. hello again this is a bass from spain I take it 2 weeks ago. Sorry guys for the delay but I wass fishing amistad
  6. Here we call this technic "vertical fishing", we use it with jigging spoon and jig head with shad type lures (we make them swimm just above the botom crontroling the drift with the troling motor). About your graph settings : put sensitivity from 90 to 97% (if water is not too dirty), chart speed on mawimum, and if you can increase "ping" settings to the max. With this you allow your graph to see even a tiny drop shot. One thing you have to check is how wide is your transducer working. I use 200hrtz with 60° angle (90° is even better) transducer on the troling motor and another one on the transom for the second screen. At the begining chose depth under 25 feet and flat , you'll have a wider pic of the bottom and less shade area. Drop a 2 once jig head with an hammer shad (or else). If you are not drifting you'll be able to see it if you place your rod tip just in front. then control your drift to found your lure you'll probably see it better on one side or another since its difficult to have the transducer perfectly flat. When you increase your fishing speed (drift) you create an angle between the rod tip and your lure. You'll catch up with the transducer on the back of the boat. Hope this will help you!
  7. Great rig you have! Since I gona change my boat (188VS with 175opti) soon and upgrade to a 20 footer with a 250 HP, I was thinking about the verado. Can you tel me how it feel to drive your boat with the Electro-Hydraulic Power Steering don't you miss the feeling of a regular steering equipement. And don't you think the dts system on the gear will be difficult to handle in rought waters (too sensitive)? Don't mind if I ask but it's a big investment for me and any advise will be helpfull.
  8. great bass, nice colors they have I didn't know it was such nice bass in switzerland. Did you take them on the italian side of the country or in the geneva area?

  11. Thanks guys! Not big one but healthy for sure , they have tons of shad to eat! But now it's winter in europe and bass fishing is slow. I can't wait to fish in texas in march. BIIIIG Nasty Ones ! If anybody got tips to fish Amistad I'll take them!
