Greetings all. I'm a recent transplant to Atlanta from Louisiana (grew up in Shreveport/Mansfield/Many/Zwolle). I don't have a bass boat available, but I do have my 12 ft pirogue with a trolling motor that I've used countless times in NE Louisiana for fishing and duck hunting. Looking for any lakes, bayous, creeks, ponds, rivers etc. within a reasonable drive from Atlanta that I could drop it in the water and fish (preferably largemouth, stripers, or maybe some crappie). Any easily accessible locations that are good spring/summer fishing would be greatly appreciated!
