  1. Hey Dave, I do not own a boat so all of my fishing is along the bank. I live near Temple Terrance and have driven from Lake Tarpon all the way to Lake Thonotossa and even the phosphate mines of Edward Medard. I just learned of this term "brackish" and realized how indepth and out of depth I am to these waters. I am looking to become more knowledgable about the many unfamiliar aspects of this landscape as well as the patterns of these Florida fish.
  2. I am here trying to figure it out myself. I did catch a fish at Lake Tarpon while on the bank. Used a Texas rigged Senko. Still looking for other places and if you come across anything promising, please let me know.

  9. Hey Levi, I am pretty much in the same situation being new to the state and waterways here in Tampa. I did try Tarpon Lake and it was the only place I have been so far that I have caught anything. Used a Texas Rigged Senko with a pegged bullet on 8lb test and caught a 1lb bass just flipping on the banks. Going to try out Harney Park soon and hope to get bit.
