    Here you go. I'm sure they only used short self tappers. There's nothing penetrating through the transom.They ran the power cord up through the existing boot and zip tied it to the other lines.

    I have a 2 bank charger on my 170 that I had Tracker install. It's mounted on the transom wall, right next to the batteries. I'll take a picture tomorrow and send it to you.

    I have the HMX - 6'6"mf, 1 piece. I like it a lot and It's my go to rod. I also prefer the split grip. Good luck with your choice.

    dsidle61, I have a 2015 pro 170 and I'm very happy with it. It is definitely a lot more boat than the pro 160 and well worth the extra money. In addition to having a lot more storage it also has a wider beam and is quite stable. I have the 40hp and fully loaded with 2 men it hits a comfortable 32mph. It's a good boat and I have no regrets. Good luck with your decision.
