Largemouth are very scarce in Sunapee. You rarely see even one in a 50 boat tournament.

2 months ago, the fish were pre-spawn to spawn so it is understandable that a wacky rig was hot. Now that they are in the summer patterns, you need to adjust.

Where can you buy Big M bodies?

I use plastisol in the liquid form. I haven't head about anyone using pellets. I have seen plastic injection machines for non-fishing applications using pellets. Are you injecting baits?

I use pro-tec powder, heat the jig in my toaster oven, dip it in the jar after I shake it to loosen the powder, blow the paint out of the eye and bake for 10-15 minutes in the toaster oven.

Looks like you got a good connection between the tip and the body but I think the tip is a little long.

When I first started fishing and was struggling for regular success, I asked a local hot stick for advice. He asked me how many jigs was I losing and I said very few. He said that I wasn't throwing them in the right places. With that being said, you are going to go through jigs if you are going to be successful. I throw a lot of ball heads in tubes and on grubs. I also throw a lot of spider jigs. These techniques make a bag with 100 jigs go away in relatively short order. Being able to use the hooks you want is a big plus and molds can be modified to accomodate a wide variety of hooks. Plus, it is real sweet to be loading the boat for a tournament and find out you need a few jigs to make sure you don't run out and you can go in the house and make them. With powder paint, you don't even have to let the jigs dry before you pack them. Dave
