  1. I would say just follow the guide boats. They will show you where the fish are. About a month ago they were hitting topwaters at dawn and dusk. We had some luck near Eisenhower bridge but that’s a bit away from buncombe. You should have some luck near washita point and patter flats as well. Hope this helps.
  2. Bryce Archie at broken bow lake chuck justice at McGee creek google should send u to their websites. Good luck!
  3. can u attach a pic of your bunks/rollers on your jet ski trailer? Thinking of making an adjustment to mine. Roller on my doesn't even touch the keel so it doesn't really float when unloading. Thanks.
  4. Can't speak to Arkansas, but here in Oklahoma I was able to register mine after I filled out a simple form and showed my bill of sale. I would find the hull number and call your local tag agency. They will be able to get you set up.
  5. Headed to pauls valley city lake in the morning. Any okies fished it lately? Possibly considering driving a little further to mountain lake also.
  6. I'm guessing you are hand launching those?
  7. Those of you that trailer your little boats, what sort of tie down system are you using? I currently use one long strap thrown across the back of the boat and hooked to the trailer frame. Would like to mount a retractable ratchet system(like the boat buckle, but cheaper) to the back on either side but I have nothing to hook to on my boat(basshound 10.2). There are some cleats but I'm not too confident in how secure those are. Any suggestions?
  8. Think I'm gonna have to move my trolling motor to the back. Loading this boat on the trailer is a downright pain in the arse when solo. Better yet, maybe a small outboard.
  9. There is atleast one picture in this thread of someone who is using an umbrella. You might search the thread.....
  10. I have a basshound10.2 and I have the fish finder mounted up at the bow. Have the transducer mounted to the trolling motor. I bought it used and the original owner had the transducer mounted on the rear of the boat and the fish finder in the middle of the seats. I use my TM at the bow so I never really could see the FF with it being mounted there. I second the tailgate down suggestion. As far as launches go, I found it easiest to have a rope on the front of the boat, push it off the trailer and beach it or dock it while you pull your trailer out. Loading is the reverse when I'm alone. If I have a buddy, I throw him the rope and have him pull me up. I don't go to many busy boat ramps so this application wouldn't work everywhere. having an outboard on the back would make loading/unloading much easier, it's on my list of to-do's.
  11. Off work on Monday 2/20, anyone want to go fishing in the norman area?
  12. Sent you a PM buddy!
  13. those of you with trailers, take a look at these pics. Notice my boat is not even touching the keel rollers. Would you change anything with this setup? Sorry, not sure why my pics uploaded sideways
  14. Well it sold before I even had a chance to look at it... probably a good thing.
