  1. I was just at Bass Pro Shop and I can't believe they don't sell any rudders for these types of boats. Maybe I overlooked them. I'd rather just buy one than make one.
  2. Thanks! I'm in goldsby so it's even closer for me. Purcell used to hold big largemouth but Im not sure what its doing lately. I did hear someone was tearing up the crappie there recently near the dam. I'm trying to get my 2man boat tagged this week so I can go check it out.
  3. I'm guessing you are talking largemouth? Striper is always good there. I would just go follow all the guide boats and chase the bait fish. I've had success throwing shad colored crank baits doing this. Sunrise is when I've had the most luck.
  4. I know this is from last year but have you or anyone fished Purcell lately? I just got a 2man boat was gonna give it a shot...it being so close to the house.
  5. Has anyone added a usb port to charge phones on their boat? don't remember seeing any posts on that. Do they make an adapter that plugs into the trolling motor receptacle?
  6. Great tip, thank you! yes, I almost felt bad for the deal I got...but they could've said No. Got the boat, trailer, 28# thrust MK, battery, FF and battery charger!!! Plan to add a rudder, some rod holders and eventually a MG bulldog trolling motor
  7. Wow, just read all 88 pages of this awesome forum. Just picked up a new to me BassHound10.2(sundolphin)off of Facebook less than 30 days ago. I really love all the mods you all have done. Attached a pic of my steal, paid 200 including a trailer.!! need some tips from those of you with trailers. How are you loading your boat on the trailer when you are by yourself? It took me over 40 minutes to get it positioned right on my trailer. With my TM on the front, I can't seem to get enough speed to get it up on the trailer far enough to winch it down. Obviously if I was with someone, they could just throw me a rope and pull me up. Any tips??
