I have been looking for a new boat for about 2 months now. I have decided on a Stratos 285proxl with a 150 yahama vmax. I did quite abit of research and found it to be the best buy for the money.. I pick up my boat next monday and will be fishing tourneyment the following sunday. Ranger had a good boat buttttttttt... i wasnt going to spend an xtra 5 to10 grand just to say i had a ranger.

The fish here in North Texas are bedding now. I have seen some good ones on teh beds. The lakes I have seen them in are: Herbert Moss Lake, Lake Nocona and North Lake. These are small inpoundments butttttttttt... there are a few on the beds in Lake Ray Roberts and in the Mill Creek area of Texoma. Good fishing and tight lines
