Old Town AutoPilot and i-Pilot Link
I am looking at getting the Old Town Sportsman AutoPilot . Planning for a Humminbird Helix 7 (not final on that yet - was looking at it for the i-Pilot Link). One of the items I thought the AutoPilot could do is connect to the GPS Fishfinder to plot a course on the fishfinder navigation, then that controls the motor / route. I looked everyone, couldn't actually find any information on it. Seems the AutoPilot only has i-Pilot (using the remote), not i-Pilot Link (using the GPS navigation on the fish finder). Does anyone know if there is a way to get i-Pilot Link on the AutoPilot?

lake oroville fish cleaning etiquette
I could always clean back at camp - there is water facets. However, scaling fish is messy, gutting them is messing. Would like to be kind to others there and clean in a designated area with fresh water to rinse. Planning to eat what we can back at camp (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and take any extra home. I do not believe it is legal to clean anywhere.Just don't want to tick off people since that isn't right.

So it is cool if I pull up to the Bidwell Canyon Marina dock, tie up, clean my fish, then take off? That would be nice since it seems that Loafer Creek ramp is just 0.5 miles across the inlet. Thanks Fish4bigfish!

lake oroville fish cleaning etiquette
I will be going to Lake Orville in a few weeks to camp and fish. I will be staying at the Loafer Creek Campground. This campground/boat ramp does NOT have a fish cleaning station. However, directly across the inlet is Bidwell Canyon Marina that has fish cleaning stations. I am not sure if it is considered good etiquette to dock my boat at that marina, clean my fish, then head back over to Loafer Creak. Or, is the proper thing to drive over to the Bidwell Canyon Marina with my catch to clean them? I have tried to google this topic, but not really finding anything. I have never been to Lake Orville, so I don't even know if there is a place I can legally dock while cleaning the fish. Looking for advise. Thanks, David Genrich
