A few from this weekend

Been 2 weeks since I've been fishing because of Irma and it looks like I won't get back out there till next weekend

She caught that 2 weeks before in another tournament on the Harris Chain

We were fishing a tournament and when we weighed it on our scales it was 7lbs. When we went to weigh in she won big fish it weighed 7lbs 8 ozs

The first tourney I fished I was so worried about getting a 5 fish limit I forgot to catch some kickers. Weighed in 5 for like 5lbs my strategy has since changed lol.

Well I ordered a Fury on Monday before seeing all this wanted it here before the weekend lol. A buddy of mine uses the tcs rods so I'll be able to compare them side by side.

Anybody ever try both and have feedback??? Looking to start changing over to one of these rods.

When your frog game is to strong

I run a 8 inch slidemaster with a 23p Tempest 2.5ins under the pad 60-61 loaded 5700-5900 rpm's. In the mornings I only use 3/4 trim to keep the rpm's down. If you run a lot with empty live wells and light in general you could probably run a 24p Tempest and pick up a few mph's.

Hows the Winter Haven Chain been fishing??? Whats the water levels at ???

It's not what it was but still took 20lbs+ to win a tournament in the spring. Just can't seem to find them for the whole month of August.

August has been a tough month for me fishing out there anybody have any tips for the summer out there???

Lake Tarpon and Thonotosassa are good get a kayak or something and get off the bank.

Fishing out of a boat I caught one in Winterset and 2 in Lulu spent all day out there. Spent the most time in Eloise but no luck in there. Mainly fished the shorelines.

Anybody got any tips for the Winter Haven Chain I went out there for the first time this past weekend and it was ruff? I mainly worked the shoreline in Eloise and Winterset.
