I love kayaking, too, and I may keep my Eagle Talon, but no way can I go out for any length of time and stay comfortable in them, doggone it!

I’ve tried the Field and Stream Eagle Talon and the Vibe Seaghost 110 kayaks in the last 3 years, but I’m done with being uncomfortable, my back hurting and my butt going to sleep after only an hour or two. I went and bought one of the 8’ Sun Dolphin Sportsman boats last night to pair with a Minn Kota C2 40 lb motor, and I am ready for these SC storms to stop so I can get in it! I’m seeing a bunch of Bass Raider info - who out there has a little love for Sportsman mods? I’m interested in seeing what good info is out there. I was up till 1:30 this morning watching YouTube videos on it. Cool little boat.

I'm doing some kayak fishing lately and having a ball in a Field and Stream Eagle Talon. It won't be long before it'll be time for vacation, so I'm curious - I may take an inflatable kayak to Myrtle Beach in September to do some kicked-back saltwater fishing. I have a new Okuma Ceymar C-40 reel that I haven't even used yet. Is it possible to rig it with 40 or 50 pound line to do some saltwater fishing with it?
