  1. A friend an I are thinking of heading out to Briery this weekend. We have been once before but we cut the trip short and left after getting frustrated with maneuvering around all the trees. We put in at the mid-lake boat ramp. Does anyone have any advice about navigating around Briery they are willing to give? And what are the current water conditions like due to the rain? Does it get super murky there? Thanks in advance
  2. I always catch and release bass. I may keep a few sunfish or crappie once in a while, but only what I will eat for sure. I'm ok with people keeping their catch as long as they are going to eat it I don't agree with someone taking a large fish out just to have it mounted. And I have heard of people at local ponds leaving a 4 lb bass on a stringer just dead in the water. That type of stuff makes me mad and I would call someone out for doing that because that's wasteful and makes other fisherman look bad.
  3. Does anyone have any experience smallmouth fishing around Bell Isle? I feel like it would be pretty good I remember there being some decent size holes to the left of the foot bridge as you are walking to the island and I have seen some large fish over towards the walkway to Browns Island as well as in the Canal there. Whether they were largemouth or smallmouth I'm not sure.
  4. Thanks I hope to get out there soon.
  5. I've got a trolling motor so I have some help. I am just wondering if there is decent fishing within a reasonable distance from the boat ramp since I am limited to a kayak
  6. I've never been to Diascund Reservoir but have been thinking about going recently. Is it easily fishable by kayak? Or is it too big and spread out?
