  1. Its the new vengeance I believe, the site says new arrival for it. The medium heavy is silver and the medium is black, I'm not sure for the light because they are out of stock
  2. I just ordered a vengeance for 25.
  3. I always like jigs and bucktails for steep drops bass fishin. No problem, have a good one!
  4. Buzz baits make for a good bass lure, and if you are fishing an area with a lot of lilies then try flippin a frog. Try wacky rigging a senko, great reaction bites and pretty cheap so if you lose a few it aint too big a deal. I mostly use frogs, buzz baits, soft plastics, and occasionaly a crank bait. I fish my soft plastic worms texas rigged and have caught a couple hogs like that, but my best is a buzz bait.
  5. For that price I would check out the shimano stradic or sephia. the stradic might be a little over budget but its definetly a good reel. Also check out the abu Garcia revo and orra
  6. No, I ordered it online and it hasn't came in yet, I ordered it today. Hoping it will be in this week and I can get some use in. I'm not sure where ill use it being their aint many places around here for bass fishing around me. just catfish. Ill be sure to tell yall what I think of the rod!
  7. I went with the Abu vengeance 6'6" medium heavy for 25. The shipping was 6. Thank you for all the feed back! I went with an Abu Garcia vengeance, thanks for the response though!
  8. I'm not, I fish the Maumee or the tiffin river in north west ohio. the Maumee has a crap ton of fallen trees and such at the bottom.
  9. I would be targeting those cats, I use 15 lb line to get a good fight. I don't like just pulling them in. I want a variety rod because I'm only 14 and don't have much chance to get enough miney again for another reel. I had to do roofing for a week to get the money for this. I just need something that if I wanted to I can. I don't use high test line, only 15lb so the drag would be zinging
  10. o, that's surprising for standard. I have heard a lot of people say snapped under the tip.
  11. if their are many lilies then I would use a frog everywhere where lilies are, bass love the vegetation and flippin a frog causes reaction bites.
  12. What are you using?
  13. I was looking at an Abu Garcia Orra spinning reel in the 40. Does anyone have any experience with it for up to 50 lb cat down to small bass? I would like some others thoughts about it before I decide on it.
  14. I asked my dad who has had a cherrywood if it was any good and he said it snapped in two weeks pulling in a less than 5 lb cat and I was thinking I want something to last at least 2-3 weeks.
  15. I've seen this but was wondering how good it was, do you have any experience with it? Sweet, I was looking at the lightning rod It would be greatly appreciated
  16. Hey yall, I am looking for a good rod under 25 bucks for temporary use till I can get a better rod. I was looking at a Berkley cherry wood HD 7' to pair with a Abu Garcia orra s 30 spinning reel. I would like somthing in the 6'6 to 7' range please.
