It is perpendicular to the stern, it is running front to back directly under my jack plate

I recently bought a Humminbird 999 HD SI unit and i made a mount for my transducer to mount to my jack plate. I am having trouble getting the side imaging and the down imaging clear. I have attached a few pictures of the setup and i know it is kind of hard to see cause it is dark but what are yalls thoughts... I have not been having any look with any of my units besides my 858 with the ducer mounted to the trolling motor. I have had all sorts of trouble with my depth not auto adjusting, not getting a proper depth reading and so on....I have went through the settings and changed all kinds of stuff hoping to figure it out and i started getting the right depth reading but it still wont auto adjust on SI nor DI...I had the same problem with my 898 which is now mounted on the bow... Do yall think the transducer is maybe mounted to close to the transom and the extended pods are obstructing the sound waves?

I currently have a hummingbird 858 DI unit on my bow and a 898 SI unit at my console, i want to purchase a 999 unit to put at my console and put both the 858 and 898 on the bow. I know if you put two transducers close to each other they will cross talk without enough difference in frequency. Is there a way to run both side imaging units off of one trancducer, i have both of mine linked right now with ethernet cables. I just bought the boat and when it comes to wiring fish finders and transducer placement and linking the units i am lost.
