  1. I'm in the market for a new bass boat looking to spend no more than 55K give or take. I have some friends with rangers or skeeters but they both seem super biased and think their boat is gods gift to the world. Any help here I'm open to all brands, Nitro looks good to me just from a money stand point but not sure how the ride. Any help would be great!!

  3. Ive lately gotten an itch for JDM equipment. Anybody know of some good, reputable places to buy some Diawa, Shimano and Megabass goodies???
  4. I'm trying to understand how the weather affects the bass and how to determine what technique or lures I need to use. I live in north texas so hot summer day are constant and I like to fish on my lunch break since I'm within a stones throw of lake Lewisville and there is a pond really close too, but I mainly go at sunrise and sun set. I'm new to this I'm starting to take my fishing more serious rather than just going in blind. How much do you invest in the fishing forecast and how does the moon phase determine how the fish will behave?? I know that with the ocean and rivers the tide is affected but how does it relate to lakes and ponds? What should I be looking for when I look at the daily weather forecast? Barometric pressures? Temp? Cold fronts or storms?? Thanks for the help and advice!!!
  5. Lol poor guys are d**n near stoned every day! but i wasnt thinking of an actual off shore boat with multiple engines. i should have been more detailed. I want a single engine platform and something that has the ablitly to go shallow with out sacrificing the ability to head into bays and a mile or so offshore. The manufactures so far that i like are the blue wave purebay2400 and the epic 23sc. mainly because those are dealers that are close to me
  6. So im in the market to make my first boat purchase! Right now im looking into a bay boat 22-24Ft mainly due to how versatile it is since i fish here at lakes in north texas and occasionally will go to the florida or texas coast and do some bay and offshore fishing. Any advantages that the bay boat would have over a bass boat on the lake? Any good brands to look at? Im looking to keep the cost around 60k and want to buy it new. Also why are fiberglass bass boats so d**n expensive?!?! thanks for the help!
