I think were leaning on waiting. The river has been up for a week now if you go by the gauge and discharge website.

Yes below the Radford area around Bellsprings road. We wade fish a couple times a year in that area. I would hate to drive 4 hours and it be muddy.

Hello everyone, Just found this site and thought I would jump aboard when I saw some older posting of Clayton lake. A buddy of mine and myself are planning on coming to the New River and doing some wade fishing around the Parrot road area close to Radford. I was wondering with the recent rain how is the water level and clarity? I Iive about 4 1/2 hours away here in Ky. and would hate to drive that far for muddy water and high water issues. Thanks for any information and good luck fishing wherever you go!
