Hi all! So I recently got into fishing and bait casting specifically and fell in love. So I recently purchased and was gifted a few items and want to make sure I have the right techniques for the right rods. i have" 7 foot St croix avid x medium / fast action 7 foot 3 inch *** *** black MH /fast action Also an entry level Ugly stick 6 foot spinning rod (with a upgrade pfluegger president reel). I also have two very nice reels to go along with my bait casting. I was thinking the 7 ft st croix rod would be for lighter baits and lures, like 3/8th crank baits cause I love my crank baits. For flipping pitching and punching, I would use my *** *** black. and maybe for weightless senkos use my spinning rod or st croix. Thoughts?
