Hi all!

So I recently got into fishing and bait casting specifically and fell in love. So I recently purchased and was gifted a few items and want to make sure I have the right techniques for the right rods.

i have"

7 foot St croix avid x medium / fast action

7 foot 3 inch *** *** black MH /fast action

Also an entry level Ugly stick 6 foot spinning rod (with a upgrade pfluegger president reel).

I also have two very nice reels to go along with my bait casting. I was thinking the 7 ft st croix rod would be for lighter baits and lures, like 3/8th crank baits cause I love my crank baits. For flipping pitching and punching, I would use my *** *** black. and maybe for weightless senkos use my spinning rod or st croix.

Thoughts?

Medium heavy for Texas rigs, jigs, Carolina rigs, flipping and pitching, and other stuff like that. Medium for cranks, topwater, and moving Baits
