Holy smokes guys. 6:40 AM and there is a lump in my throat. What a badass way to recognize some selfless members of this community. I was given a box of flies on Veteran's day last year, and it's been one of the greatest gifts that has kept on giving. Those rods will be heirlooms! Looking forward to more sponsors and warriors in the future!

Austin, any chance you're a veteran? Both Oakley and Costa have military discount programs that apply to Prescription glasses. I personally wear Oakley prescription, but have not been a big fan of them. I only recently became aware of Costa's military pricing program, so those are likely to be next in line to try.

Prior to being bought out by Luxottica, Costa had no military discount. So in my limited experience, I favor this type of merger.

I tend to think that an animal that learns to become weary around boats would be considered smarter (or more mature) than those that aren't. Same line of thinking for the picky eaters. It's a learned behavior, which would imply one being "smarter" than another. But, even smart people can be tricked.

Awesome story! I was given a box of flies on veteran's day as a thanks for my service. Besides the fact that Ive caught the majority of my fish on these flies, the thought behind them makes them even more special!
