I'm going to be in Manchester next week and figured I might try a little fishing while I'm there (depending on if this late snow melts anytime soon). Any easily accessible places on the Merrimack that people could suggest? The only one I know of is Arms Park.

If you haven't done so yet, go on YouTube and search for Tim Moore Outdoors. He has a video on fishing for Northern Pike on Moore Dam Reservoir. I've never fished it makes self but hope to one of these days. Good luck!

I think up north where trout fishing is king, there are definitely some really big bass hiding. 10+ lbs is possible.

I'm heading up to Lake Umbagog, staying at the NH state park campground (southern end of the lake) in a couple weeks and have never fished this lake before. I'll be fishing from a kayak and was hoping to get some tips on good spots to hit for smallies, as well as some info on what lures seems to work best there this time of year. Thanks!
