rod power question
The one company I'm looking at lists their cranking rods as mod action crank power. All I'm trying to figure out is what is that "crank" power similar to? Is it closer to a med or is it closer to a heavy or in between?

rod power question
I'm looking for a mh moderate action and there is a few I have my eye on. but then I also seen the cranking rods are also moderate action. My question is about the power of it. Since stated that its cranking what would the be relative to? Like a med heavy or a med?

Whopper Plopper This, Whopper Plopper That...
I picked up to 90`s last night so when I get a chance to get out I plan on throwing one out there to see how good it is myself. Does seem like everybody loves them though. Ive always had luck on the torpedo`s and spooks

Inexpensive Whopper Plopper 130 Rod ?
Depending how cheap you wanna go the shimano sojourn is pretty decent. I have a 7'h and a 6'6 mh both fast action. I got both for $40 each at my lfs. They will become back ups though as I'm looking to upgrade and try out different rods

Lew's Carbon Blue - my impulse buy
The patriot I do not. I can throw poopers and spooks no problem. Don't have any jitterbugs to throw so I cant say for that. I do feel though it is possibly a little stiff but I cant say until I pick up a medium action then ill be able to say more. I'm new to the baitcaster scene. first year using them. But the collection is growing rather quickly. Wish I would've made the leap years ago.

Flipping stick around $120
i use a shimano sojourn for now. Its 7ft h/f and does me fine. I don't have a boat and all the local spots by me have lots of trees so a 7'5 rod isn't practical. I do plan on upgrading it to a g loomis over the winter though

Lew's Carbon Blue - my impulse buy
i like using my heavy for frogs and jigs. figured i would put it out their since i see what you use yours for. And i use my mh/f for poppers and t-rigs until my two new reels come in and i figure out what two rods i want to get for them
