  1. Thank you all for the advice... I understand the choices may not be ideal but I am trying to cover all my south florida bass fishing with 2 baitcasters and 2 spinning outfits.
  2. Good afternoon, I'm looking for opinions on how to use these two spinning rods. One for small topwater and cranks (floating rapalas, twitch baits etc.) and the other for finesse plastics and small t-rigs. Both rods have 30 series Abu Garcia Revos spooled with 20lb braid. Leaders used if necessary. 7' MHF 1/4oz to 3/4oz 8-14lb - Abu Garcia Villain 7" M 3/16oz to 5/8oz 6-12lb - Abu Garcia Veritas What would be the best use of each rod? Thank you. Mike
  3. Thanks guys. I'll head over to Dick's for some lures now. I out kicked my coverage with my wife.
  4. Good afternoon all, My wife got me a couple combos and I'm not exactly sure whats the best use for each of them. Abu Garcia Revo S baitcaster on a Abu Garcia Veritas 6'9" MH rod Abu Garcia Revo S spinner on a Abu Garcia Veritas 7'0" MH rod I'm purely a saltwater inshore guy but I want to start freshwater out on Lake O. What would you use each of these rods for? The only other bass rod I own is a 7'6" flipping stick for pitching into the pepper grass. I will probably focus on plastic worms, jigs, lipless crankbaits and topwater. Trying to keep it simple in the beginning. I appreciate any advice. Mike
