  1. It would have to be a custom mold. Jigs with recessed line ties are what started me pouring my own silicone jig molds. Those can be done, if you are interested in me making you one, let me know. Here is a link to some of my molds http://s1057.photobucket.com/user/Paxamus/library/?page=1

  3. Still kind of hard for me to imagine sending hot stuff with my daughter down range. Got plenty firearms and VERY willing to use them if someone threatens our family. I sure hope that I am never put in the position where one of them would be in danger, but if so I hope it ends with them being safe.
  4. I fish it with one for a while I read a while back that smaller fish will attack a craw and tear an arm off first then eat it. Not sure if it is true, but I still will fish an amputated craw for a while
  5. I was looking at the Metan as well and am glad to hear someone using it and having success. I hope others chime in as well. Thanks
  6. Parasite clips are fantastic for flukes. I use them on all fluke presentations as well as my T-rigs.
  7. Hey guys, I have been using Sunline Sniper for trigs, jigs, and pitching beavers, but wanted some 25 lb, was thinking of trying Shooter in 25 for the beavers. Anyone had any personal experiences with it? Thanks Paxamus
  8. Lurecraft.com has real good prices on round rubber
  9. Rockchalk06 My heart goes out to you man. I lost my dad when he was 63 and I always looked at him like he was Superman growing up. We fished our last tournament together one month before he died. That was almost 3 years ago. I cant tell you the sting will ever go away, it only slowly gets better with time. I actually wanted to stop fishing for a while because he was my fishing partner, but eventually got back to enjoying it. I still to this day pick up my phone to call him and still have his number in my phone. Good luck and just know that it will only take time to get better. The best advice I can give you or anyone who has lost someone close to them is, Live your life as they would want you to, enjoy everyday and make the most of it. Melanoma was the culprit in my dads case, so everyone PLEASE where your sunscreen this stuff is real! Paxamus
  10. They quit using mustad hooks and now use some off brand horrible looking thing and want more money for them (I guess they need to pay all of their patent lawyers)- those to things made me stop using them and start using others
  11. I always use scents. Anything to help, over the years I have tried all kinds, used to only use BANG, then went to powerbait stuff, tried JJs with good results but too messy for me. Plus almost got kicked out of my own house for using it in the basement. No I use Megastrike, smells good to me, fish seem to hold on longer as well
  12. X2 Start with a Revo S or an STX I have a TON of Revos, wont fish anything else!!
  13. Powell definitely. They have a lifetime warranty, if there is somewhere close that sells them, that means no shipping charges. 50lb is as light as I go, any lighter and it gets too thin. The Powell frog rod has handled 50 and 65 lb with no problem and I try to break stuff on the hookset
  14. Traveler that is a GREAT idea!!!
  15. I had the F500 and it was a tank, but it weighed like one and sounded like one as well. I decided to stay with my Revos
