7'6" Heavy power extra fast action rod use?
flipping, pitching and punching. Haven't felt these rods but assuming they're pool cues and wouldn't be too fun to cast with.

Tournament anglers and attitudes
@OCdockskipper the worst part of the Classic that I saw wasn't the Ike attitude but chris Zaldains wife Trait who also fished professionally. Her Instagram story for every day of the tournament was pictures or videos of casual fishermen complaining that they don't belong on the lake during the tournament and if a tournament angler shows up they need to move. I fish 20+ tournaments a year and understand my level of importance on the water is the same as everyone else out there, it's public and I have no rights to any spots. I have had people fishing the same tournaments as me pull up to a spot I've been on for an hour and want me to move because they prefished it and I have no problem telling them no. You get there first it's yours.

Latest Tackle Purchase Thread (Bait Monkey Victim Support Group)
I have the Ike rod in 7'0 and it is sweet let me tell you. Definitely gets favored over my KVD cranking rod and an unnamed cranking rod i have for sure.

Favorite mid depth crank
My favorite that touches that depth at all is the Spro Little John MD 50 that gets down to 9 feet. After this I really like the Spro RKCrawler like AJAY said as well as a rapala DT10.

Have you ever caught a fish without hooking it in the mouth?
A good bit of my fish on a vision 110 are hooked outside the mouth. They swipe at it or go to hit it and don't get it in their mouths but the hooks are sharp and stick in their sides. More impressive that I wouldn't believe if I hadn't seen was a 4 pounder that choked a one knocker so hard it had the whole body of the lure past its gullet with both trebles sticking out not touching anything, he just wouldn't let it go.

How long can bass live in a cooler without air
Big cooler with water from the lake they are being taken out of. Bass pro sells cheap aerators and you could invest in two of those to keep oxygen in the water. Frozen water bottles will be better than ice cubes from what I've told our drinking water has small amounts of chemicals that are bad for fish. Cool oxygenated water would make it reasonable to transport them from a lake to your private pond as long as they don't get beat up too bad by the road and you aren't trying to transport a lot at once. Also, as I've seen it is illegal to transport them in California. Here in NC we have guys try to stock lakes with spots from the Bama River as well as the Cape Fear and Norman every now and then and I personally think its a bad idea, even if it is for your own private pond all the water runs somewhere and you could screw something up.

Fishing around a hurricane or tropical storm
Last time we had a hurricane come through in North Carolina the fishing was absolutely on fire right before it hit us. Cannot speak as much for after but if it rains raise your water level it could make for some fun shallow fishing.

worm and jig rod advice
Like I've seen the Dobyns fury is an awesome rod right around the $100 price range. I use one for my c rig rod and it is sensitive enough for me when compared to my custom rods. Bought it to quickly replace a broken rod with plans of selling it fast but ended up keeping a spot in my arsenal. On feeling the bottom palming the reel where you can touch the blank above the reel as well as touch the line if you like makes a huge difference. Once you fish more and more you can tell the difference between rock, wood, sandy bottom and what not. I use 17lb flouro and have no issues with sensitivity from my fury.

Small Baitcasters
Thanks, I may be on the hunt for one used in the flea market in upcoming weeks. Also, I might add that the rods I use have an epoxy handle as opposed to foam, rubber or cork, it adds a ton of sensitivity but you can definitely feel the added weight there when using a heavier full sized reel.

Small Baitcasters
Do you have any experience with the Lew's? It seems that it is in a completely different price range than the other two reels you mentioned.

Small Baitcasters
What do you guys like for smaller bait casters. Looking for one that would balance on a shakey head rod well, and not really need the extra capacity as im only throwing 12-14 pound line at most. I have seen the 70 series Curados but I am interested to see if there is anything else out there that you guys like. I am looking on replacing a reel pretty soon.
