I use 3" for Ned rig and 4" for everything else rarely use 5" but always keep a few in the boat also use 3" & 4" on drop shot

I was looking at getting a couple of the cronos spinning rods but was waiting to hear some reviews on them first. Anybody used any of them?

What mold are u using on those? They look really good!! I'm about to order the new do-it Midwestern finesse mold and put sickle hooks in them.

Mine would have to be...... 1. 3" River Rock custom baits Ringer in GP with chart tail on 1/16 jig head or T rigged 2. 1/8 1/4 3/8 Rogers Jigs both hair and rubber in various colors with various trailers but mainly rage baby craws 3. Roboworm on drop shot and neko rig bold blue gill, MMIII, 4. Berkley gulp minnow smelt color on drop shot and jig head 5. I know this isn't a soft plastic but Switching most of my rods to braid with fluro leader I mainly finesse fish because of all the pressure the waters I fish get its the only way to catch them. It's crazy how sensitive braid with fluro is compared to just mono. Caught lots of fish on these baits and still more to come as our fall bite is just heating up

Thanks Darren and Wayne I appreciate it! I was looking at the helix 7 SI but I've heard good and bad things about the hunminbirds. Any input on that? How are the garmins in that price range with SI? What's a good marine electronics dealer to go thru?

I'm looking to get a new fish finder with side imaging. Currently I have a lowrance elite 5 hdi. I would like to upgrade to a 7" and mount the transducer on my trolling motor. I'm looking to spend around $7-800. I fish lakes but also some shallow rocky rivers so if anybody has any suggestions on protecting the transducer I would appreciate it. Thanks scott

Hello this is my first post to the site. I'm thinking about getting a new drop shot rod I'm currently using a Denali rosewood. I like it but I'd like to get something a little nice and longer. I'm open to any suggestions I'm looking to spend $1-200 for just the rod. I mainly use 1/4 oz sometimes 3/8. I use braid with fluro leader. I'd like a ML in the 7 foot range. I'm also thinking about getting a rod for throwing 1/16-1/8oz marabou jigs and hair jigs with so if u have any suggestions throw those in as well. I was looking at the 7'6" ML diawa Cronos has anybody used this rod? Thanks Scott
