Do y'all have any tips on storing a kayak outside? I have seen where people have used saw horses or leaned them up against their house but am not sure of the best way. Also, do y'all know of any uv and water resistant covers or tarps that could be used to cover a kayak? Thanks

I have been looking at these two kayaks and was wondering what the major advantages and disadvantages to either of these kayaks, in terms of fishing, are. If anyone has had personal experience with either of these kayaks and would comment that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

How would you suggest strapping the kayak to the roof rack?

I am going to try to find somewhere to store it off campus if possible.

Standing would be a must have. I would prefer something lighter but it would not really bother me if it is moderately heavy. The factory rack can hold up to over 100 lbs. so most kayaks should be fine. I am not sure if there is anywhere to store at school but I will be looking into that. Is it possible to keep a kayak on a roof for long periods of time without damaging the kayak? And how would you suggest strapping the kayak on the roof?

I am considering getting a kayak to fish in. I am in college and have a Nissan Xterra with a factory roof rack. I am wondering what kayak would be best for small bodies of water (preferably under $500) and the best way to store and transport a kayak while at school? Thanks
